World Mission
A heart for Missions
The Evangelical Covenant was first created from the desire of a group of Swedish immigrant Christians with a desire to educate and ordainpastors and send missionaries. Our first mission fileds were to Alaska and China. Today, as a whole, the Evangelical Covenant Church supports missionaries in twenty-six countries through six regional coordinators.
Our local church supports Covenant World Mission through regular contributions from our weekly tithes and offerings ans special offerings. We provide special support to some missionaries who visit us regularly and send us frequent prayer requests and updates on ministry in their assigned areas.

MIlitary Chaplains
In addition to Covenant World Mission, our church is proud to remember our military chaplains serving God, our nation, and the Evangelical Covenant Church with soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines throughout the world. While we do not provide them with any financial support, they are in our hearts and prayers.
Our church is especially proud of two chaplains who are members of the Audubon Park Church, Jeff Saville and Kevin Lockett.
Jeff is a Chaplain, Lt Commander in the U. S. Navy.
Kevin is a Chaplain, Major (select) in the U.S. Air Force. He and his family (Wife Peggy, and Children: Nathaniel, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth) are stationed at Grand Forks AFB, N.D.
